摘要：O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver equações de correção para a EDC medidas com o adipômetro CESCORF (modelo Científico) para quatro equações que originalmente foram desenvolvidas com o adipômetro LANGE. Duzentos e cinqüenta e nove homens (média de idade 23,3 ± 2,9 anos) participaram voluntariamente desta investigação. Nove dobras cutâneas foram medidas pelos dois adipômetros (abdominal, suprailíaca, subescapular, tricipital, bicipital, axilar média, peitoral, perna medial e coxa medial). Por meio da análise de regressão linear simples foram geradas quatro equações para corrigir a gordura corporal relativa derivada de quatro equações freqüentemente usadas no Brasil. Para essas quatro equações o R2 foi de 0,99 (erro-padrão da estimativa de 0,434 à 0,626). Os resultados indicam que a utilização das equações propostas pode reduzir o erro de medida da EDC e da %G, quando usado o compasso CESCORF, ao invés do Lange.
其他摘要：The objective of this study was to develop equations of correction for the EDC measured with adipometry CESCORF (Scientific model) for four equations that were originally developed with adipometry LANGE. Two hundred and fifty nine men (average of 23,3 age ± 2,9 years) participated voluntarily in this inquiry. Nine cutaneous folds were measured by the two adipometrys (abdominal, suprailíaca, subescapular, tricipital, bicipital, axillary average, pectoral, leg average and and thigh average). Through the simple linear regression analysis four equations were generated to correct %G derived from four frequently used equations in Brazil. For the four frequently used equations in Brazil R2 was of 0,99 (estimate error standard of 0,434 to 0,626). The results indicate that the use of the suggested equations can reduce the error of EDC and %G measure when using CESCORF compass instead of the Lange.
