摘要:This article focus on the use of information technology as a support tool in the decision making process by mangers/owners of supermarkets in Aracaju. The objectives of this study are to analyse the use of computers, the level of commercial automation, the characteristics of the information generated but the system, the information flux and the evaluation/perception of this process by the managers/owners. It was seen that despite theuse of information technology is fundamental for the decision making process this technology do not represent yet, in the majority of the supermarkets of the study, as trategic or a differential competitive tool.
