摘要:The text manifests the potential role of DE - Distant Education in the scope of professional learning in Brasil. It indicates the legitimization of DE on international forums and the progressive overcome of prejudice. It infers that new administrative studies emphasizes the relation between human capital and the longevity of the learning organizations. It observes that permanent education has a privileged "locus" in the working environment itself and this fact is an important vector to the spread of professional distant education. It indicates an irreversible integration of the distant way in the professional learning agencies actions. It supports the creation of a DE national public policy with emphasis on professional learning, counting on the integration and the resources from tributary nature that are collected today by agencies managed by the companies syndicate, which institutional role should be reviewed.
