摘要：Doping is widely regarded as the major threat to modern-day sports. For this reason, rivers of ink have run and many public debates have sprung in the wider society. Likewise, an ample bibliography in the Academia has been written on this issue. This work will analyze the nature of the anti-doping fight from the perspective of three diverse but complementary disciplines: history, law, and ethics. This paper has two parts. The first will focus on the origins and development of both the doping and anti-doping mentalities. The second part will analyze the ethico-legal challenges posed by the realization of the current anti-doping fight.
