摘要:This paper describes the prevalence of serious psychological distress among Oklahoma's adult population and how serious psychological distress relates with chronic illness, unhealthy behaviors, and performance of usual activities. A random-digit dialed telephone survey was administered to Oklahoma's noninstitutionalized adult residents (n=7, 463) in 2007. Five percent of Oklahoma adults experienced serious psychological distress (SPD).
