摘要：The anatomical analysis of turned-to-charcoal wood remains confirmed the use of Guadua at the Chinikihá archaeological Mayan site, Palenque Hinterland, Chiapas Mexico. We highlight the use of this plant as a mortuary item in burials of this site, which has been also found in mortuary contexts from other Neotropical locations, mainly in Colombia and Perú.
