Young leaders success code provides success stories of high
achievers so as to guide young managers in their pursuit of excellence.
The book was released by NHRD in partnership with IMI, on the occasion
of 7th young manager's conference. Real life case studies of eleven
leaders have been presented who have operated under widely heterogenous
business situations. This book has crystallized the code of success for
the new age leaders. The characteristic and expectations of the younger
generation which constitute the future workforce have been analysed
keeping in view the fast paced environmental changes of globalization
and technological revolution. The authors have gathered primary
information on how today's young leaders have become successful and
therefore, identified their success code.
The book is divided into fourteen chapters. First chapter
delineates the role of leadership in emerging context. Second chapter
critically evaluates various Gen Y expectations and leadership
implications. From chapter 3 to 13, each chapter covers success stories
of business leaders. Thereby eleven success stories are presented.
Chapter 14 concludes with factors that enables the young leaders to take
on the challenges of the tomorrow, offering useful tips for motivating
the Gen Y.
The book is first of its kind in contemporary Indian management
