The judge granted applications for three children for permanence
orders with authority for adoption under section 80 of the 2007 Act. The
children were already placed with prospective adopters in England.

This was an appeal against the granting of a permanence order with
authority for adoption. The Sheriff Principal remitted the case to the
same sheriff, for him specifically to consider the 'grounds'
for a basic permanence order, as set out in section 84(5)(c) of the 2007
Act.
