(a) Orders for recognition of the 2007 Act out with Scotland The Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 (Consequential Provisions) Order 2010, SI 2010/2469 is amended by the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 (Consequential Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2011, SI 2011/1345, with effect from 30 June 2011. The Order is available under its individual number at www.legislation. gov.uk/uksi. It amends the 2010 Order by removing the eight-month time-limit originally provided for, and extending recognition of permanence orders with authority for adoption in England, Wales and Northern Ireland beyond August 2011, until the main amending order under section 104 of the Scotland Act 1998 is made.

(b) Consultation on fees for intercountry adoptions

The Scottish Government issued this on 16 March 2011, on proposed administrative fees for intercountry adopters for the administrative work undertaken by Scottish Government officials in processing of their applications. The fee being considered by Scottish Ministers is 1,775 [pounds sterling], with effect from 1 August 2011.
