AUW has participated in the annual conferences of the Women Education Worldwide (WEW). The first conference was the faculty conference which was held in Massachusetts, US and hosted by Mount Holyoke and Smith Colleges between May 31st and June 3rd under the theme "Teaching Globally". The conference was attended by over 21 universities from different parts of the world. The second was the WEW Student Leadership Conference (WSLC), hosted by Collegio Nuovo of Pavia, Italy, between June 6h and 10th and aimed at creating an inclusive environment and at motivating participants to self-discover and develop life skills. The conference dealt also with a variety of themes ranging from the pillars of history to the challenges of science and economy.

Two students from AUW joined this conference.
