Research seminars.
The first-semester seminar series for 2009 was on the topic
'Giving an Account of Ourselves: Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander philosophy, knowledge and view'. Organised by Kerry
Arabena, the series was delivered solely by Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander people and attracted high attendance throughout. From all
around Australia, the speakers considered a range of issues surrounding
what it is to be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in today's
society. Audio and video of the seminars is available at www.
