It was purchased from Melbourne photographer June Orford in early 2007 as part of a series of four images documenting the alpaca industry. A tiff file of 20 megabytes, it is 'shelved' in the Library's Digital Collections Manager system. Digital images have a number of advantages from a collection management point of view--they do not, for instance, needer use.
