"Writing Centers Across Languages and Cultures"

This symposium provides opportunities for scholars, teachers, students, university administrators, and other professionals to come together to exchange ideas about the role of writing centers in Asian universities as well as the teaching and learning of writing. The symposium attracts a large number of participants, demonstrating the growing importance of writing centers and a high level of interest in the role and functions of writing centers and writing in Asian higher education. Attendance and participation are free.

The Program Committee invites proposals for both research- and practice-based presentations in English and Japanese. Presenters will have 25 minutes to present and answer questions.
