摘要：O artigo analisa a experiência musical do espetáculo e projeto de divulgação da música produzida no estado do Pará, denominado Terruá Pará. Para este exercício de análise e reflexão, o artigo relaciona a experiência do Terruá Pará com estágios da música popular massiva e aspectos históricos e identitários da cultura da música na Amazônia Paraense. Partindo da concepção de que “o princípio da midiatização orienta a priori a representação e a interpretação dos fenômenos comunicacionais” (Muniz Sodré), o artigo descreve o espetáculo e conclui que além de uma política de estesia, o Terruá Pará é produto de uma espécie de metonímia das experiências musicais vivenciadas no território paraense, pronto para ser comercializado no mainstream. Abstract The article analyzes the musical experience of the show and project dissemination of the music produced in the state of Pará, named Terruá Pará. For this exercise of analysis and reflection, the article relates the experience of Terruá Pará with stages of the massive popular music and historical aspects and identity of the culture of music in Paraense Amazon. Starting from the conception that "the principle of mediatization guides a priori the representation and interpretation of the communication phenomena" (Muniz Sodré), the article describes the show and concludes that beyond a aesthesia policy, the Terruá Pará is a product of a kind of metonymy of the musical scene from state of Pará, ready to be marketed in the mainstream.
