摘要：The present article describes and analyzes the process of formation and development of the Moveleiro Polar region de Lucas do Rio Verde-MT, from a description-biographical study of average a small set of e companies who had searched in the partnership and the associative action its strategy of survival and growth, in a region until then without industrial tradition. It was looked to constitute the historical line of these organizations, being described its processes of organizational change and its strategies of adaptation to the competitive environment. Sample, in conclusion, the contribution of the moveleiro polar region in the process of local and regional development and the experiences of the constituent companies of the polar region who had oscillated between moments of crisis and negative impact in its economic results and moments of advance in the relation with the market, especially with respect to one better strategical positioning of these organizations.
