摘要：Examines the scientific literature on Knowledge Management and Innovation, available in BDTD of the Institute Brazilian of Information Science and Technology (IBICT) for the period January 2010 to June 2011. Based approaches and the main features of Knowledge Management and Innovation. Through a literature search and document, in a universe of 35,965 documents, 25 were identified (including theses and dissertations), containing the pre-defined criteria. The research variables were used approaches; postgraduate levels in which they were developed, and areas of concentration, areas of activity of the organizations surveyed, frequency of citation of the authors, and the nature of the studies. Concludes that studies on knowledge management and innovation have been treated by different approaches. In research on Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning and stand Mental Models. And about Innovation, approaches Process Innovation and Radical Innovation. As for post-graduate levels, it’s found 21 dissertations and four theses. The areas of concentration, there is the Administration, with eight (32%) of total searches. It’s identified areas of activity, indicating that the Knowledge Management and Innovation apply to several areas. The authors quote most often were Nonaka, Davenport, Earth, Prusak and Takeuchi. In analyzing the nature of the studies were divided into theoretical and practical studies.
