  • 摘要:There is consensus among information professionals and educators that reading is essential to the teaching-learning process, and contribute to the formation of critical citizens. But even before all the benefits, the act of reading is not much of preference among Brazilian children and adolescents. So wake up the habit of reading has been a challenge for educational institutions, families and society as a whole. The con-tion of stories is presented as one of the ways to delight the children and youth and to demonstrate how books can provide a pleasurable activity and enriched vider. This paper studies and presents different possibilities to plan and carry out motivational moments of "storytelling" of stories, called this proposal "Story Hours" using creativity and ICT. Through various resources, including: music, multimedia, movies and other media, demonstrates how it is possible to streamline Story Time, making it more than a reading incentive, but also a stimulus to search for knowledge. We focus on the use of tablets in case the iPad 2, as a resource to boost the storytelling and attract more attention by children and adolescents to literature, using its many applications. Therefore, the objective of this work, and thinking and convey the concept of a new and renewed Story Time, contribute to it to be effective in the construction of information and knowledge. And above all, provide tools and guidance so that it speaks the language of the students, for the most part, digital natives, accustomed to the virtual environment, hypertext and technological resources.
