摘要：This work analyses critically the Ant Movie Catalog, a database for cataloging movies made by Antoine Potten. It was developed to the organization of movie collections in several formats (DVD, CD, VCD) and directed to movie rental shops owners or even people who has a small movie collection (or to home use). This article shows the features of the database on filmic information retrieval, analyses its information fields and suggests the implementation of important fields that can improve its functionality from the point of view of the Audiovisual filmic documentation area.
