摘要：The present paper aims at revising the historical evolution of organizational theory by presenting a variety of theoretical infl ection points. This field of study is relatively young and has gone through different stages, from scientific rationality to the surge of analytic taxonomies oriented towards the comprehension of organizational phenomena. A critical approach on Latin American organizations is maintained throughout this paper. It intends to offer an alternative perspective to traditional views imported from the Anglo- Saxon world.
