摘要:The gastrointestinal tract of 20 Argentine black and white tegu Salvator merianae , was examined in search of nematodes. The diaphanocephalid nematode Diaphanocephalus galeatus was identified with a prevalence of 80%. This work contributes to the knowledge of the host’s helminth diversity, being the first record in southern Brazil, and presents unpublished photographic records of the species.
