摘要：The aesthetics in the constitution of the folk identities through the folklorists'speeches. order to characterize the cultural distinctive expressions of the folk groups. In this paper it is discussed how have folklorists applied the aesthetics to characterize the identities of the folk groups. For it it is taking into account how the folklorists in their speeches have used the aesthetics in the past in building a premodern urban society. Appealing for it to the rustic and to the telluric character of the folk productions.Later, it is developed the theoretical turn to the performance group and its identity, taking into account the artistic communication that the folk group develops. Producing, thus, a reconceptualization of the folk group and identity already not in terms of rustic peasants but of people who share a particular the peasant group folk's productions but an artistic convention displayed into the communicative process of any group.
