摘要：This article shows the rise and development of de New Sociology of Childhood as a sociological approach that tries to reveal the real position of children in our societies and the way in which their lives run. The article refers the main theoretical approaches and research tools applied in the field of the new childhood studies, and also the benefits to think about children in their own right when trying to understand the modern phenomena that children and adults are affected by.
