摘要：The sale contract is the most exhaustively regulated contract by law of all times. For this reason, it turns out to be a useful paradigm to analyze its elements in two notarial documents written up according to Arab-Hispanic practice, and thus to compare them with the application that informs our present legal system. This comparison allows us to see that several institutions originate not only from a common inspiration based in Roman law, but from a legal logic shared by individuals without distinction of time or culture.
