摘要：This paper deals with the process of constructing a “pedagogical device” wich has been implemented in the Social Memory post graduation course. This device consists on the selection and edition of movie and documentary scenes from the last decade, with emphasis on the topic of interculturality and foremost the racial hatred as wel as the role of memory in the perception of ethnic difference. Our methodology requires active engagement from students in the entire process of constructing the device having us reference some experiences had with students during the New Latin America Cinema from de 60´s and 70´s.
