However, their philosophical basis and its legal application are extremely problematic. For that reason, there is a need for a legal-philosophical approach, starting with the description of international instruments and legislations of the States in favor of such rights, concluding with a philosophical reflection on key concepts such as "intergenerational responsibility", "futurology or science of the distant effects of the environmental deterioration" and "ethics of mankind".
