摘要:The aim of this research is to determine the burn-out level of physical education teachers working in Ankara and to determine whether or not a difference occurs on their exhaustion level in terms of some demographics variants. the sampling group of the research was 430 physical education teachers, worked in Ankara in 2009-2010. In order to collect the data, ‘Personal Information Form’ and ‘Maslach Exhaustion Inventory-Educator Form’ have been used. In analyzing the data; SPSS 15 have been used and sig. level is acknowledged as 0.05. The total average point of the burnout level of physical education teachers’ was calculated x =12,20, for emotional exhaustion; x =3,21, for desensitization; x =7,51 for individual achievement. After analyses, exhaustion level of participated PE teachers has been found adequate in the research process. Differences have been found for various variables under the subsection of emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment and depersonalization of PE teachers.
