  • 摘要:Students are often used by academics to gather data for research projects to the benefit of both students and faculty researchers. This paper outlines the specific advantages of this practice and provides guidelines useful in training students to gather data. The guidelines were developed by merging the very limited extant research in data collection training with results of a survey of students who had participated in a large-scale mall-intercept study. The results not only contribute to the research literature on data collection, but should also encourage researchers to engage in further study of data collection and effects
