摘要：The numerous scientifi c data regarding historical and biological aspects of transformation of wild brown rat in laboratoryanimal are summarized in the review. A special consideration was given to the infl uence of anthropogenic factorwhich favored the increase of animals’ ethological plasticity. Relying on the analysis of neuromediators and neuroendocrinechanges by rats’ domestication a supposition about the peculiarities of stress infl uence upon physiological functionsby albino rats is made.
