摘要:The major problem of indoor localization is presence of non-line-of-sight (NLOS) channels. In order to perform NLOS identification, in this paper, we propose a novel NLOS identification technique based on minimum slope and standard deviation of energy block of the received signal using energy detector. In particular, IEEE 802.15.3c 60 GHz channel models are used as examples and above statistics is found to be explained in detail. The simplicity of the proposed approach lies in use of parameters of energy-based time of arrival (TOA) estimation algorithm. CM1 (LOS) and CM2 (NLOS) channel models of IEEE 802.15.3c channel models are used. Numerical simulations results show that correct identification of channel models with the proposed approach is better than with multipath channel statistics based approach.
