摘要：With high efficiency and environmental protection, distributed generation (DG) technology has attracted much attention since its invention. It can be formed by various ways, including: photovoltaic power, the wind, fuel cell and micro turbine, etc. In this paper, the definition of distributed generation and its development are introduced briefly. However, it should be concerned that, the distributed generation system may cause a certain impact on the existing power system after its connection to grid; and its potential effect on the quality and the reliability on the security of electric system are also discussed.
