摘要：Because the uniform clustering algorithmhas the problems of unbalanced andlargeenergy consumptionin long distance communication between clustersin Wireless Sensor Networks,wepropose an Improved Unequalven Clustering Routing Protocol (IUCRP).To optimize the clustering mechanism,IUCRP takesresidual energy,distance to the Sink nodeanddensityof surroundingnodesof the candidate cluster heads into consideration when calculatesthecompetition radiusof the node. Meanwhile, we employthe method of multi-hop routing between clustersandchoosethe next-hop by considering residual energy,distance and link cost factors to mitigate the “energy hole” problem. Simulations showthatIUCRPcan balance the network energy consumption and extendthe network lifetime
