摘要:The effect of (4Z)-2,5-dimethyl-4-(4-methylpyrimido[1,2-a]benzimidazol-2(1H)-ylidene)-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one (P1) on the corrosion inhibition of mild steel (MS) in 1 M HCl solution was investigated by linear polarization resistance, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and weight loss measurements in the presence of different concentrations of P1 ranging fro m 10 -6 M to 10 -3 M. The adsorption of P1 on the MS surface was described very well by the Langmuir adsorption model and quantum chemical calculations (DFT).
