摘要:The equilibration of supersaturated lead-calcium-strontium-silver alloys was studied for the time range from one minute to over a year, by different experimental methods: hardness measurements; microhardness measurements; optical and electron microscopy. Calcium content is 0.058% and, the content is Strontium 0.12% and silver contents are 0,07% and 0,3 weight %. Two structural states were considered: as-cast alloys; rehomogenised alloy. The explored temperatures were 20 and 80°C. This last temperature corresponds to the curing temperature of battery's grids and to the highest operating temperature. This study shows that mechanisms PbCaSrAg hardening alloys are similar to those of PbCaSr alloys, the influence of silver on the hardening of alloys PbCaSr results in amplification of the maximum hardness of about two units (2HV) and accelerated process of transformation hardening first responsible for aging and slowing those of the second stage.
