摘要:The presence of cyanobacterial toxins in aquatic ecosystems used for drinking water, irrigation or recreational activities, is a major risk to human and environmental health. Several cyanotoxins detection approaches have been developed by their sensitivity and selectivity. This work presents and discusses a synthesis of different analytical techniques (biological, chemical, and molecular) used scientific laboratories and surveillance programs . biomonitoring . of cyanotoxins. The reasons for selection; the advantages and limitations of each approach were briefly discussed. Particular interest was given to preventive measures to control cyanobacteria in aquatic ecosystems and water supply storage facilities as well as water treatment processes for cyanotoxin removal. This mini-review gives background and practical information not only for the scientific community but also guidance for the managers of aquatic environments and wetlands.
