  • 摘要:Purpose: This study examined the effect of two length of tapering period on concentration of plasmainterlrukin-6, cortisol and performance in the elite male wrestler .Material: After completing 4 weeks of theprogressive training exercise, the subjects was randomly divided into three equal groups. 1- tapering oneweek (N = 10) which continued with a 75% reduction in training volume for one week 2- tapering threeweeks (N = 10) which continued with a 75% reduction in volume of training for three weeks. 3- Controlgroup (N= 10) which continued performing the progressive weekly training volume for one week. Bloodinterlukine-6 and cortisol levels were assayed from analysis obtained via standard ELISA. Also Generalstrength muscle was recorded. All data were collected before and after progressive training and also afterone week and three week tapering period. Result :There was significant reduction interleukin-6 levelsbetween both of tapering groups with control group (P≤0.05).There was significant reduction cortisol levelsbetween tapering one week and control group (P≤0.05). Also there was significant increase General strengthmuscle between one week tapering and control group (P≤0.05).Conclusion: one week tapering with 75%reduction in training volume is more effective strategy. Also, it seems that shorter tapering (one week)when the intensity kept high before main competition is suitable method to compare with longer tapering(three week) in elite male wrestler.
