摘要：Health assumes prime importance around theglobe and the most significant indicator of a nation’s growthand development. Health is probably the best measure todefine a person’s state of well-being. With the advent of time,the Health Care industry has also been effected by the role ofICT (Information and Communication Technology); which isslowly replacing the time-worn methods of recording patientdetails manually by faster and technical methods like“mHealth”. Even the consensus suggests that the impact ofICT in Health Care could be substantial or evenrevolutionary. Although it is difficult as of now to predict theprecise nature of impact, but it definitely seems that the healthsector will benefit from advances in mobile telephony andInternet services. The concept of mHealth is specificallyrelevant in present time because when patients struggle to findhonest and reliable service providers, new institutions such asICT based ‘self-regulatory’ mHealth systems can deliverquality care at reasonable cost.
