摘要：Senility is a brief concept that has psychological, economic, cultural and social dimensions. Policies that concern senility have become bindery after the social changes because of the rise in the elder population all over the world. Active ageing policies that aim to give opportunities to people in the process of ageing about health, participation and security is an approach to be a solution for this problem and get them older active-healthier. In this view, it is aimed to analyze the active ageing policies at national and local level in the content of social policy. Social policies that will be applied on elderly people are not only limited with care and rehabilitation but also include multidimensional applications which aim to raise the life quality in the content of active ageing. Consequently analyzing the services for elderly people by the content of active ageing in Turkey at national and local level will show the current situation of Turkey. New policy recommendations about the problems obtained in this study will help decision makers related with senility
