摘要:Philosophy of Education is in the centre of developing activities for curriculum development. In this process, philosophies service as value filters on deciding. In this study, the aim is to contribute to the national literature in curriculum development and curriculum evaluation fields by revealing the evaluation approach of Wiles and Bondi’s in terms of evaluating the philosophy of the school and its educational programme. According to the findings which are predicated on literature review, in Wiles and Bondi's evaluation model there are 5 basic dimensions and 15 subdimensions. With the observations and researches in a school, these dimensions are tried to be explained in a longitude from a structured (S) form process to a flexible form (F). For Wiles and Bondi’s, in the schools where the philosophy of education is clear, form or flexibility degree has to be quite constant. In other words, If it shows on a chart, a zigzag model in a school's profile shows inconsistency in learning design although stronger schools have quite vertical pillars when the five degrees of form and flexibility are defined in fifteen dimensions.
