  • 摘要:The aim of this study is to specify the technology usage competency levels of high school teachers according to educational technology standards. The target population of the study is consisted of 224 teachers working in the primary schools in the centre and districts dependent on Eskişehir Directorate of National Education in 2011-2012 academic year owning IT classes. Single screening model and relational screening model was used in research. The study has been conducted through sampling out of target population and convenience sampling method has been used in sampling. The assessment instrument used in this research has been developed by the researchers grounding on the dimensions of National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS*T). The data have been described through frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation values, independent examples t-test and one-way variance analyses. According to the data procured at the end of the research, it is observed that teachers meet the NETS*T standards and have a good level of technology usage skills. It is concluded that teachers' technology usage competency levels do not show significant difference according to their gender, branch, their educational level and their seniority.
