摘要:Astract In this study, it is mentioned curators, conceptual frameworks, spaces, artists, protests, criticisms with 11th International Istanbul Biennial which was organized between 12 September and 08 November 2009. With this study, it is aimed to search by whom and why Biennial criticized and why it is defined the most political biennial. At the 11th Biennial, it is seen that it is arranged an art atmosphere which is constructed carefully from curators to conceptual frameworks and from spaces to artists. In this atmosphere which emanates from contrast and contradiction art-politics-culture-policy-fund are nested deliberately and has been provided a basis for criticism from different part of society. Known person, event, fact and concept such as Brecht, Marx, Koç, 12 September 1980 coup, communism, capitalism and a lot of o1ther issue and fact, which has been taken place for years at Biannel, appeared on the 11. Biennial's stage and became a political stage and on this stage a big epic theatre was performed.
