摘要：Abstract It is very important to use social and cultural resources in social studies since it focuses on people, their society and life. This paper aims at determining social and cultural resources being used in social studies. Data of this survey model designed study were collected via questionnaire implemented to 595 grades 6th and 7th primary school students in the Eskisehir. At the end of the study, it was determined that guest speakers were used as learning resources in social studies. Additionally, especially historical places were visited among the outdoor classroom places. Students used Internet and television related social studies learning, and they read biographies of important people in the scope of integrating literature and social studies. Students stated that they did not benefit from cultural activities in social studies. Consequently, it might be said that outdoor places, literature, and cultural activities were not integrated with social studies adequately.
