摘要:Abstract The aim of this study is to determine the level of pre-service Turkish teachers' reflective thinking tendency and to evaluate this level according to the gender and class variables. The sample of the study consists of totally 102 freshman and senior pre-service teachers studying at Kazım Karabekir School of Education, Atatürk University in 2009-2010 school terms. In the study, to ascertain the reflective thinking tendency of the pre-service teachers, ''Reflective Thinking Tendency of Teachers and Pre-Service Teachers Scale'' which was first developed by Semerci (2007) was used as data collection tool. The data collected through this scale were analyzed and assessed by SPSS 16 program and t-test values, standard deviation were analyzed. As a result of the study, it was found that senior pre-service teachers had a higher level of reflective thinking tendency than their freshman peers and that gender variable had nothing to do with reflective thinking tendency.
