摘要:Abstract This study aims to train school managers to be real leaders by determining national standards, and contribute to educational policy that is going to be prepared in that field by providing views and suggestions so that they can be assigned objectively. It is seen that there is not a developed management trainee program in current education system in our country. That brings databases of training management and standards of training managers into question. Also, it is seen that duty and responsibilities of school managers in the hierarchical structure is too much, but their authorities are limited. In that study, a literature review were made concerning qualifications that a school manager should have, and concerning school manager selecting, training and assignment system in our country and in the World. An alternative model was offered related to school manager selecting, training and assignment system in our country. There are a lot of suggestion in that model; collaboration between Higher Education Institution and the Ministry of National Education, establishment of manager training academy within the scope of the Ministry of National Education, acknowledgement of management as an occupation, and manager selection examination to be vice manager.
