摘要:Abstraction process for coordinate system of two sixth grade students, one of whose is known to be successful and the other of whose is not successful for the mathematics education, has been studied in this research. The application has principally been prepared in a form to allow to distinguish four different cognitive actions for the RBC+C model (recognising, building-with, construction and consolidation) of these problems. These problems, which have been prepared, have been applied in the group that has constituted two students. The video recordings have been studied for the analysis of the data. In consequence of studies, it has been understood that the students can recognise some of the preliminary information, which is required for the students in order to construct the coordinate system but they have some difficulties about horizontal and vertical axis information. Because of that, there is still need to new studies to prove that these students have constructed the coordinate system.
