摘要：Abstract The coefficient of relationship (association measures) is used to determine whether there is a relationship between variables and if there is to find out the direction and degree of it. Chi Square test can only determine the existence of the relationship and it has disadvantages. This study gives the advantages and disadvantages of coefficients of relationship appropriate to the measurement levels to reduce error estimates based on chi square with scales. The coefficients of relationship were determined by taking dimensions of variables and measurement levels into account and with these coefficients of relationship, factors affecting students' success were determined.
