  • 摘要:Abstract The aim of this research is to determine the teachers' opinions and suggestions on improving values education programme and thereby developing a programme module sample oriented on values education for teachers, by considering to constructivism. Fifty teachers who working in Diyarbakır and volunteered for interview composed the study group of the research. Teachers' opinions and suggestions were obtained by semi-structured interviews. The data was analysed by determining the main theme and sub-themes according to teachers' opinions and suggestions. The results revealed that the teachers highlighted that the family have an important role to make the values education more useful, as well as on the necessity of cooperation between teachers and family and organizing inservice training programmes. Also "audio-visual competence", "examples from social life" and "activities encouraging the students participation" were favoured by the teachers as the prior elements in a material to be prepared about values education.
