摘要:Abstract This study was conducted to determine the socio-demographic factors affecting 12th grade students' depression levels. The sample of the research consists of 146 (46%female, 54% male), 12thgrade students from İsmetpaşa high school in Şehit Kamil, Gaziantep. The data were obtained from 146 students and were collected through "Beck Depression Inventory" and a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by stepwise linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the significant predictors of students' depression levels were the socio-economic level according to their perception, sleep problems, perception of their health status, number of brothers/sisters and students' gender. There is need for more research to determine psychological and psychiatric problems among high school students.
