摘要：It is an undeniable fact that human beings are the uppermost level of all the living beings. The humanistic characteristics of a human stem from the principle humanistic in order to exist bring into existence. The core essence of these characteristic include being respectful to others, to love other people, not to other them, to share with them, and to recognize responsibilities for this essence and thereby act tolerantly to the others. If all of these characteristics and responsibilities are taken into consideration, the essence of all of these characteristics is altruism. Hence the aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable likert type scale that can determine the level of altruisms of the individuals. For this purpose firstly the literature was scanned and a theoretical background has hereby been created. The scale was applied to sampling consisting of the students of Ondokuz Mayıs University (N = 369 for the exploratory factor analysis N=271 for confirmatory factor analysis). The construct validity of the scale was tested by Principal Component Analysis and Varimax Tecnique was also used.
