摘要:In this study, students’ views on science teaching at private courses and their attitudes towards these private courses were examined. The study was realized with the participation of 7711 students who are in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in various different high schools in Ankara. As a result of the study, it was determined that students have developed a positive attitude and that they also have a positive view of private courses. Among the reasons explaining the preference for private courses, small number of students in classes, being able to ask whatever they have not understood to the teachers at private courses more easily, learning practical test techniques, acquiring good study habits, and increased self-belief in being successful at university entrance exam are striking findings. When students’ attitudes and views of private courses are examined in terms of gender, it was seen that there is a meaningful difference in favor of girls. When they are examined in terms of class level, it was determined that the higher the class they attend, the more positive the students’ views and attitudes are. This result shows that students view private courses more positively as the university exam approaches
