摘要:Today, Internet and social media have become prevalent in the society, especially among young generations. These technological advancements have led to the emergence of social and ethical issues. One of the most important of these issues is privacy. Sharing in social network sites can threaten privacy and may cause unrecoverable problems. In this study, the relationship between Facebook usage and privacy concern among university students is explored. The research data was obtained from the survey conducted to undergraduate students in the Department of Economics and the Department of Business Administration at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University in the spring semester of 2013-2014 academic year. As a result of the analysis, it is found that there is a statistically significant difference between Facebook users and not users regarding privacy concerns. Students who do not use Facebook are more concerned about privacy than Facebook users. In addition, the results showed that there was a negative relationship between frequency of Facebook use, the average time spent on Facebook in daily, number of friends on Facebook profile and privacy concern among Facebook users
